🌿 Anemone coronaria 'Lord Lieutenant'

Anemone 'Lord Lieutenant' brings vivid, royal blue blooms to early-season gardens, offering a dramatic splash of colour when few other plants are in flower. The large, velvety petals surround a dark central eye, making this a striking addition to spring and early summer borders. Compact and full of character, it’s ideal for sunny beds, gravel gardens, and container displays.

🌿 Note for Isle of Wight planting:
Anemone 'Lord Lieutenant' is perfectly suited to the island’s sunny, sheltered gardens. Plant tubers in autumn or late winter in well-drained soil and a sunny, protected spot. On the island’s sandy soils, anemones naturalise beautifully, often returning year after year with minimal effort.
