Achillea ‘Lilac Beauty’
Soft lilac flower heads bring gentle colour and pollinator life to sunny borders.
Achillea ‘Lilac Beauty’ produces flat-topped clusters of soft lilac-pink flowers held above finely divided, feathery grey-green foliage. The blooms appear in abundance through summer and are constantly visited by bees, butterflies and hoverflies. The soft pastel colouring blends beautifully with blues, whites and silvery foliage plants, creating a relaxed, naturalistic look in sunny borders.
This hardy perennial thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for drier gardens, gravel beds and wildlife-friendly planting schemes. Once established it is drought tolerant and easy to grow, forming tidy clumps that gradually spread. Regular cutting or deadheading will encourage even more flowers through the season.

Ideal Companion Plants from The Green Standard Range
Geum ‘Fireball’ – vibrant orange blooms in late spring provide a warm colour contrast before the achillea takes centre stage
Nepeta ‘Blue Wonder’ – soft mounds of lavender-blue flowers loved by pollinators
Jasione ‘Blue Light’ – neat blue globe flowers that pair beautifully with achillea’s flat flower heads
Origanum ‘Bristol Cross’ – aromatic edible oregano with ornamental pink bracts and masses of bee activity
🌟 The Green Standard Tip
Achillea makes excellent cut flowers and also dries beautifully. Harvest stems just as the flowers fully open to enjoy them fresh indoors or as part of dried arrangements later in the year.
