Hemerocallis 'Mini Pearl'

A charming miniature daylily producing masses of soft pearl-pink blooms above neat clumps of slender foliage.

Hemerocallis 'Mini Pearl' is a compact and free-flowering variety, bearing elegant, pale pink flowers with a delicate yellow-green throat throughout summer. Each bloom lasts for just a day, but the plant continuously produces fresh flowers over many weeks, creating a long-lasting display that attracts bees and other pollinators. Its refined colouring blends beautifully with both pastel and stronger planting schemes.

Thriving in full sun or light shade, this reliable perennial forms tidy clumps that gradually increase in size each year. It is easy to grow, tolerant of a range of soil types, and performs particularly well in mixed borders, cottage gardens and informal planting where its long flowering season can be fully appreciated.

Ideal Companion Plants from The Green Standard Range

  • Nepeta 'Walkers Low' – soft lavender-blue flowers that complement the pearl-pink blooms

  • Geranium 'Rozanne' – long-flowering violet-blue flowers extending the season

  • Achillea 'Lilac Beauty' – flat-topped flowers providing contrasting form and colour

  • Gaura 'Passionate Blush' – airy pink flowers that echo the delicate tones of the daylily

  • Salvia 'Rose Queen' – rich pink-purple flower spikes for a cottage garden combination

  • Erigeron 'Lavender Lady' – masses of daisy-like flowers creating a soft, natural effect

 The Green Standard Tip

Plant Hemerocallis 'Mini Pearl' near the front of a border where its delicate flower details can be appreciated up close. Pairing it with long-flowering companions such as nepetas and geraniums helps maintain colour even between flushes of bloom. 🌿
