Iris 'Raspberry Blush'

£10.00

Iris ‘Raspberry Blush’

A beautifully coloured bearded iris with soft raspberry tones that bring warmth and elegance to late spring borders.

Iris ‘Raspberry Blush’ produces large ruffled blooms in rich raspberry-pink shades, creating a soft but striking display above upright fans of sword-like foliage. The distinctive colouring adds warmth to planting schemes and makes this variety a lovely focal point when in flower. Like many bearded irises, the blooms add height and structure to sunny borders during late spring.

This hardy perennial thrives in full sun and well-drained soil where the rhizomes can enjoy warmth. Over time plants form neat clumps that return reliably each year, making them ideal for sunny borders, gravel gardens, and cottage-style planting where drainage is good.

Ideal Companion Plants from The Green Standard Range:

  • Salvia sclarea ‘Alba’, tall airy white flowers that brighten borders

  • Nepeta ‘Six Hills Giant’, soft lavender-blue flowers loved by pollinators

  • Geum ‘Fireball’, vibrant orange blooms for warm colour contrast

  • Erigeron karvinskianus, delicate daisies that soften the front of borders

🌟 The Green Standard Tip:
Plant iris rhizomes so the top sits just above the soil surface in a sunny spot. Good drainage and plenty of warmth will keep plants healthy and flowering strongly each year.
