Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Little Bunny’
A wonderfully compact fountain grass, perfect for smaller borders, gravel gardens and pots.
‘Little Bunny’ forms neat, softly arching clumps of fresh green foliage, topped from late summer with fluffy cream to pale buff flower heads. The feathery plumes catch the light beautifully and bring movement and texture to planting schemes, while the seed heads provide valuable autumn and winter interest.
Best grown in a warm, sunny position in well-drained soil. Its naturally compact habit makes it particularly useful towards the front of a border, where it combines beautifully with low, long-flowering perennials without overwhelming them. Once established, it copes well with periods of dry weather.
