Pulmonaria ‘Bertram Anderson’

A classic, long-valued lungwort with striking foliage and rich spring flowers.

Pulmonaria ‘Bertram Anderson’ is admired for its deep green leaves liberally splashed with silver, forming a neat and weed-suppressing clump. In spring, clusters of violet-blue flowers emerge from pink buds, creating a vivid two-tone display that’s irresistible to early pollinators, especially bees. The foliage remains attractive well into autumn, adding texture and sparkle to shady beds.

This dependable perennial thrives in partial to full shade with moist, humus-rich soil. It is excellent under deciduous trees or alongside woodland-style planting, where it brightens darker corners. Compact and easy to grow, it is one of the most reliable Pulmonarias for year-round interest.
