Salvia ‘Trebah Lilac White’
Elegant lilac and white blooms bring soft colour and pollinator interest to sunny borders for months on end.
Salvia ‘Lilac White’ produces upright spires of delicate lilac flowers blended with creamy white tones, creating a fresh and airy display from early summer well into autumn. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, while the aromatic foliage adds extra sensory interest to the garden. Its softer colouring makes it especially useful for calming brighter planting schemes or pairing with pastel cottage garden combinations.
Thriving in full sun and free-draining soil, this salvia is well suited to coastal and drought-prone gardens once established. It forms a bushy, upright clump that flowers continuously with regular deadheading. A light trim after the first flush of flowers helps keep plants compact and encourages fresh blooms later in the season.

🌿 Note for Isle of Wight planting
Salvias thrive in the Isle of Wight’s warm, breezy conditions, especially in sunny borders with sharp drainage. ‘Lilac White’ is particularly effective in coastal-style planting schemes, gravel gardens, and wildlife-friendly borders where long flowering and drought tolerance are important.
🌿 Ideal Companion Plants from The Green Standard Range
Nepeta ‘Walker’s Low’, long-flowering lavender-blue tones that complement the soft lilac flowers
Gaura ‘Passionate Blush’, airy pink blooms that add movement through the planting
Stipa tenuissima, soft flowing texture that contrasts beautifully with salvia flower spikes
Achillea ‘Lilac Beauty’, pollinator-friendly flower heads that repeat the pastel tones
Erigeron ‘Lavender Lady’, delicate daisy flowers that soften edges and extend seasonal colour
🌟 The Green Standard Tip
Salvias look best planted in generous drifts rather than individually. Combine with grasses and airy perennials for a relaxed, naturalistic planting style that keeps flowering right through summer.
