Salvia ‘Trelissick Creamy Yellow’
Soft creamy yellow flowers bring a gentle warmth and elegance to sunny borders from summer into autumn.
Salvia ‘Trelissick Creamy Yellow’ is a refined and unusual salvia, producing tall spires of pale buttery yellow flowers above aromatic green foliage. The soft flower colour blends beautifully with pastel planting schemes and contrasts especially well with purples, blues, and silver foliage. Loved by bees and other pollinators, it flowers over a long period and adds a relaxed cottage garden feel to borders and gravel gardens alike.
Thriving in full sun and free-draining soil, this salvia forms a bushy upright clump that copes well with dry conditions once established. It performs particularly well in warm sheltered gardens and benefits from deadheading and a light midsummer trim to encourage repeat flowering and maintain a tidy shape. Its softer colouring makes it very versatile and easy to combine with other drought-tolerant perennials.
