Hylotelephium ‘Iceberg’ (Sedum ‘Iceberg’)

Sedum ‘Iceberg’ is a fresh and luminous take on the classic stonecrop, with pale green to creamy-white flower heads that gently blush as the season cools. This compact perennial offers the same drought-tolerant, pollinator-friendly reliability as its cousins, but with a softer, more refined palette that brightens late summer borders. Its fleshy, grey-green leaves form neat clumps, making it equally useful in gravel gardens, containers, and dry borders.

Specifications:

  • Height: 35–45cm

  • Spread: 40–50cm

  • Flowering: August to October 🍂

  • Position: Full sun

  • Soil: Well-drained; performs best in light, chalky or sandy soils

🌿 Note for Isle of Wight planting:
‘Iceberg’ is exceptionally well suited to coastal planting on the Isle of Wight. It holds up in windy, exposed areas and thrives in poor soil. Once established, it needs little watering and copes well with heat and dry spells. Leave seedheads intact through winter for structure and habitat, then cut back in spring.
